The Atlas of Many Links is a public register of practitioners active across the built environment disciplines and beyond — architects, urban designers, researchers, educators, landscape architects, engineers, critics, and makers of all kinds.
The Atlas is an important resource for those seeking expert commentary or advice, those looking for people to participate in talks, panels, juries, sessional teaching, crits, writing and criticism, and much more.
The Atlas expands the image of what a built environment professional looks like and does, and introduces the many practitioners active in shaping the world around us — at every scale, from every background.
The Atlas includes the option to indicate availability for mentoring — a first step in building deeper professional support structures across disciplines and career stages.
An atlas is more than a map — it is a collection of relationships, a record of connection between places, people, and ideas. The name reflects the ambition of this project: not simply to list people, but to reveal the dense, overlapping network of expertise and experience that exists, and to make it visible and navigable.
Too often the same voices appear on the same panels, in the same catalogues, teaching the same courses. This project exists to change that — by making visible those who might otherwise be overlooked, and by connecting people who have something to offer with those who are looking.
Anyone can browse the Atlas without registration. Use the search bar to find people by name, role, location, or keyword. Use the region and discipline dropdowns to narrow your search. Use the availability checkboxes to find people available for specific activities.
